About us
Welcome to Save the Rave! We are dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences for those who live and breathe the rave culture.
At Save the Rave, we believe in using the power of music and entertainment to create an atmosphere of peace, love, unity and respect, while contributing positively to society.
Our roots go far back as the late 90’s where the rave movement began and with the introduction of uplifting trance and hard dance music, many of us experienced an era of music and “togetherness” that was hard to recreate. Until now.
But what truly sets us apart is our commitment to delivering intimate events. We believe in the power of connection and aim to create an atmosphere where every individual feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
Safety is our top priority, as we strive to ensure that each event is a safe and secure environment for all attendees. With our events we hope to create a sense of community, where strangers become friends and friendships turn into lifelong memories. Whether you’re a seasoned raver or new to the scene, Save the Rave invites you to join us on this extraordinary journey. #savetherave

Our Story
Save the Rave was officially founded by Jason Rinquest, also known as DJ Jason47, and Adrian Gerber, also known as Adrian Gemini, in March 2023. However, the brand had its roots in Jason47’s show on MuthaFM. This was a passion project that laid the groundwork for what was to come. The name “Save the Rave” comes from a hard house song of the same name, released in 1999 by Captain Tinrib, Mars & Mystre.
Jason and Adrian’s friendship dates back to the late 1990s when they embarked on their DJ journey together. From vinyl shopping to living together and organizing events, their bond grew, even though they are vastly different in personality. After a decade-long break from DJing, Adrian and Jamie (Jam Jar) began encouraging Jason to host an event. Jason had one stipulation, that if they were going to do it, they had do it right.
Jason had grown tired of disappointing gigs over the years—events that suffered from unsafe venues, inadequate security, poor facilities, and minimal production effort. It was an experience that drained his passion for the scene. With Save the Rave, they committed to creating the kind of event they would want to attend themselves—a safe, clean, enjoyable, and well-produced experience. And it must be FUN!
The first event under the Save the Rave banner was called Liquidreams – Nostalgia. The Save the Rave brand was subtly included in the marketing to see if it would resonate for future events. The name Liquidreams was chosen for its nostalgic appeal, aimed at tugging on the heartstrings of those who remembered the good old days. Despite launching the marketing with less than a month to go, the event was a resounding success, selling out more than 260 tickets with two weeks still left. We had to cap the tickets to insure safety and comfort.
Buoyed by the success and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces, they decided to keep the momentum going. The next event, Winter Wonderland at Colorbox Studios, remains a standout favourite. With each event, the goal has been to improve upon the last, ensuring that every ticket sold is worth the price by delivering a highly entertaining experience for everyone.
Nico from AVspec joined the team from the 3rd event onwards. Neon Dream was set to be our most prolific event with an outstanding production of inflatable igloos and LED screens. It turned into a mini-festival and went on to launch Save the Rave to an entire new level of entertainment and quality production. Fast forward to 2024 and as of writing this, we are about to host our 12th event. Our future includes team-ups with Afrodizzacts as our decor and props partner as we strive to bring our patrons more and more value with every event.
Ultimately, the vision for Save the Rave is to create such memorable experiences that attendees naturally become ambassadors of our brand, spreading the word about their positive experiences and helping the community grow organically. Our dream for the future is to focus more on props and decor, so that when our party goers enter the venue we want to evoke a resounding “wow”.
